What You Get With Me

A supportive and experienced voice professional who has logged her 10,000 hours (and then some) as a voice student, a professional singer, and a voice teacher. I get the challenges, I have confetti at the ready for successes, and I know how to work toward goals.
Coaching package clients get all package perks noted on the registration page of this site.
All clients get:
- reminders via text and email 48 and 24 hours prior to their appointment, and cancellation privileges up to 24 hours in advance of each appointment.
- Access to me via email or text from 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 24-hour turnaround. Communications received on Fridays may not be reponded to until Monday.

Important Legal Stuff I Have To Include:

The client (that’s you!) is solely responsible for creating their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions, and results arising out of, or resulting from, the coaching relationship and their coaching calls and interactions with the Coach (that’s me!).
The client is solely responsible for scheduling appointment times and utilizing all appointments included in a package. Payments for unused appointments will not be refunded.
Limited Liability: Coach makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied with respect to the coaching services negotiated, agreed upon, and rendered. (AKA… I don’t have a crystal ball and I cannot guarantee that you’ll make crazy amounts of money or get famous after our work together.) In no event shall the Coach be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.

Customer Cancellations/Rescheduling:

1:1 Sessions: No rescheduling or refunds are available if you cancel 24 hours or less ahead of the scheduled appointment.
1:1 Sessions: You'll get reminder emails 48 hours before your session time. Need to change your session date/time? You can TOTALLY cancel/reschedule IF your appointment is more than 24 hours away.
Group Sessions or Classes: Because a group element cannot be recreated 1:1, I cannot offer rescheduling or refunds for group sessions or classes. Recordings will be available for those who have to miss class.

Refund Policies for private coaching & Teachable courses:

Purchasing a self-paced course or product? You’ll have 14 days to request a reason for a refund via email to MeredithColby@icloud.com.
No refunds are available for individual sessions, group sessions, or classes after our time has concluded. I'll be there for you and give you my all, every time. After that, it's up to you.
If you have purchased a package and wish to discontinue after the first session, I will reimburse you for the remaining sessions. (Prorated for admin time.) And we can still be friends. To cancel a coaching package, send an email to MeredithColby@icloud.com with your request within 48 hours of your first session.
If you’ve reserved a package and you change your mind within 48 hours of payment, I will provide a 100% refund.
It is up to you to schedule appointment times and utilize the appointments included in a package. Payments for unused appointments will not be refunded.

NVM Level 1 Certificate of Completion Classes

Requirements for coaching certification:
- Attend in real-time (via Zoom):
  - At least 15 of 16 instruction classes
Payments: You agree to honor the payment schedule you have selected. If your credit card changes, you will alert Meredith at MeredithColby@icloud.com or Meredith's VA, Kati at MusicStudio.VA@gamil.com so that we can update your payment information. If something happens that keeps the monthly charge from going through and we need to contact you, you agree to respond in a timely way and work with us to make things right.
Refund Policy: If you change your mind about the course for which you have paid in full and would like a refund, you'll receive 95% of your tuition fee back if you cancel at least 10 days prior to the first class. If you cancel between 9 and 1 day prior to the first day of class, you'll receive a 80% refund.
Don't be a meany: If you're dissatisfied or unhappy about something in an NVM Certification course, please reach out to Meredith or to Kati, Meredith's nice, Canadian VA at MusicStudio.VA@gmail.com before taking to social media so we can have an opportunity to make things right.

NVM Level 2 Certified Coach Classes

Requirements for coaching certification:
- Attend in real-time (via Zoom):
  - At least 15 of 16 instruction classes
  - At least 3 of 4 peer coaching classes
  - 10 private coaching sessions
  - Submission of two 30-minute videos of you implementing NVM principles in your coaching
Payments: You agree to honor the payment schedule you have selected. If your credit card changes, you will alert Meredith at MeredithColby@icloud.com or Meredith's VA, Kati at MusicStudio.VA@gamil.com so that we can update your payment information. If something happens that keeps the monthly charge from going through and we need to contact you, you agree to respond in a timely way and work with us to make things right.
