Vocal
Coaching

You know what

your singing could be.

Ready to go there?

Online Vocal Coaching for Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre & Contemporary Singers

You’ve taken voice lessons. You’ve gone to YouTube for vocal coaching. You’ve taken the online webinars and downloadable courses for singing.

None of it has delivered.

Your singing still isn't what you know it can be.

You can't control that "crack" in your sound. You don't have the range you know you could.

Maybe your voice gets tired. You're scared to book back-to-back shows. Or just to sing in front of certain people.

You can't shake the feeling that if you knew the secret, you could sing the way you know you can.

Vocal Coaching for Adult Singers, Performers, and Voice Professionals

Whether you're a singer struggling with high notes, a performer preparing for an important audition, or a voice professional looking to refine your craft, vocal coaching brings your singing in line with your intentions.

Maybe you want more high notes, more vocal stamina, or simply to make your singing sound better. And maybe you're ready to stop trying to go it alone.

I provide private online voice lessons and vocal coaching for adult singers worldwide. With more than 30 years of experience as a performer, educator, and vocal coach, I work with singers address common challenges such as vocal fatigue, inconsistent range, register transitions, pitch instability, and difficulty accessing power or ease in the upper range.

Unlike approaches that focus primarily on correcting vocal mechanics, my work integrates contemporary voice training with principles from cognitive neuroscience. Through this approach, NeuroVocal Method®, singers learn how attention, perception, and motor learning influence vocal performance, creating more reliable and sustainable results.

Coaching is available for singers of all experience levels, including singer-songwriters, recording artists, musical theatre performers, professional singers, voice teachers, and dedicated adult amateurs seeking greater confidence, freedom, and consistency in their voices.

Change your brain, change your voice.

Working with Meredith has been life-changing... I mean, I've expanded my blended mix through the roof. I had no idea I could do that!

But also, it's given me tremendous confidence in my voice. I love my voice in a way I've never loved it before.

As I'm doing this NeuroVocal Method I believe that I'm healing the ideas that were put into my head as far as how I'm supposed to sing. It's truly powerful.

NeuroVocal Method® is a neuroscience-based framework for teaching and training the singing voice. It's based on popular styles of singing, like rock, jazz, hip-hop, indie, soul, metal, and country. Those styles value authenticity. They're about the artist finding their own expression.

I help people find their way to a singing voice that feels easy, and has a great range with amazing stamina. The road to that place is from the inside out. Together, we teach your brain what to pay attention to and how to do that.

I guide you through the process of learning about your voice; how to listen to what it's telling you, what it responds to, and how to help it change. Our work stimulates changes in the brain. That makes changes in your singing feel organic and natural. It keeps the you in your singing.

I've taught this method to voice teachers and vocal coaches around the world. It makes improving your singing fun and (TBH) a little strange! It also works reliably and feels kind of like magic.

I've worked with professional singers, avocational singers, and people who think they're "tone deaf." For me, it's all about changing brains and helping people find their way to expressive singing that feels right to them.

The inside-out approach to singing offered by NeuroVocal posits that if the brain’s default is to create an efficient sound that is free of aesthetic judgments, singing can be built on that. The singing that is created this way is intentional, responsive, sustainable, and flexible in different genres. It’s also faster to learn this way, with significant changes taking months instead of years.

There's lots of information about me online. I've authored books, have a blog, and a YouTube channel Of course I show up on the socials, and have made numerous guest appearances. You can also read plain ol' google reviews.

What those things won't tell you:

  • I'm autism-informed.

  • I work with people in many different time zones.

  • I love working with older adults, singer-songwriters, and people who think they "can't sing."

...so we can talk about you

Let's talk about the voice you've always known was there!

Maybe you're ready to tackle your issues, like you're so done with your vocal "break." You might be sick of obsessing about how tired your voice is after you sing, or you want to be loud without having your throat hurt. Basically...? You want to enjoy singing!

Our time together will give you an opportunity to tell your story. What are your dreams and goals for your singing? What challenges are you running into? What's your singing life been up to now?

When we're done, I'll make a recommendation. If I think you're a good candidate for NeuroVocal work, I'll share how I think we should proceed. If I don't think I'm the right vocal coach for you, I'll recommend an awesome colleague. (After all, I train vocal coaches so I know a lot of them!)

...and hey...if none of the times I offer work for you, shoot me a message and we'll find a time!
