Kim Nguyen specializes in popular/classical styles of singing, singing while self accompanying, and teaching effective technique and practicing via neuroscience principals. Kim's goal as a teacher is to offer student-oriented lessons that synthesize technical proficiency and authentic creative expression. She currently offers in-person or virtual voice, piano, and ukulele lessons.
Kim is a graduate of Chapman University with two Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education (2016). She is a Herb Alpert Emerging Young Artist Scholarship recipient (2016), has premiered numerous newly composed solo and chamber works in collaboration with upcoming composers, and performed in reputable choral ensembles internationally. In addition to her vocal and piano studies, Kim plays harp and performs as a singing harpist at private events throughout Southern California.
