Joanne Arnold

More Than Music

Joanne Arnold, teacher, singer, vocal coac is a Rhode Island native. Her love of music began in church choir. In high school she was a founding member of Good Works Theater-a state-wide traveling theater company.

Joanne earned a B.A. in Drama from Franklin Pierce College, a G.P.D. in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music, is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and recently earned her Neuro-Vocal Method certification.

Her performing credits range from opera, operetta, musical theatre, art song concerts to church music and as a back-up singer for a rhythm and blues band.

Joanne teaches classical and non-classical singing styles. She enjoys working with students (child to adult, novice to advanced) to explore and develop their unique voice and style with patience, confidence and humor.
